I was hoping for Red to be there- but nope.... darn.

I was talking to the guys in the Sony booth and looking at the CineAlta f23, you know I had to bring up Red- the Sony employee told me that Red no doubt will produce a great image, but that he wouldn't put his money in it because of "The lack of support"

Red is definitely changing things.

Heard the same stuff about FCP from Avid retailers/users back when I got v1.0 in 2001. RED is going to revolutionize things, but heck my newly purchased HV20 is putting a lot of pressure on everyone, even Canon. Now if it were only dvcProHD I'd have like 5 of them. But I see that sub-$2K price point coming soon, probably from Panasonic...hopefully...
