Im not asking this to get yelled at or be told off saying im crazy just asking to see if something could be done. Is there any way a Canon or Nikon lens could work on a M43 body with the same AF speed, well up to the camera limits over course.

Feels like my Pannasonic lens autofocuses like 10 times faster than my Canon lenses on canon body. I doubt the mechanics are anywhere near the same to allow canon to spin/focus that fast even if the electronics where there to work with the panny. Maybe if one replaced ALL the electronics, motors, and reduced the weight of the guts in Canon lenses?

If I understand your question correctly -- then to the best of my knowledge -- the answer is a decisive -- NO.

For electronic functions to work you need the lens mount to be compatible to the manufacturer's body. Physically you can mount a Canon or Nikon lens on an MFT body, but with only one exception (the Redrock Micro adapter that allows aperture control on EF lenses), all lens controls will be entirely manual.

Right we have seen that, We just moved to the GH4 as our main camera, we have used the 5D mark III and all that but I would love to see something like the Canon 400mm Lens have AF on a M43 body for Wildlife. Guess we will have to wait for the Olyumpus 300mm.
