hey all first time posting any grabs or footage.

so here are a couple of my dvx grabs of a shoot i did yesterday for a music video im doing for a friend.

I will still have to have 2 or 3 more days of shoots for this vid.

I am showing 2 gabs with the original and black diffusion

original
Sequence%2003.bmp

black diffused because i didn't like mhow her makeup came out.(it didn't show on the viewfinder)
Sequence%2004.bmp

original
Sequence%2001.bmp

black diffused
Sequence%2002.bmp

for the second grab I may just stick with the original and I will AE out that stupid heat lamp in the background.

If you were wondering about the one with black background, I just used some duvetyne for background on my garage wall and lit it using matt's homemade flouro lights and a ring light I threw together(not complete yet).

thanks for viewing

changed the grabs to bmp and now they work...i guess tiffs cant be viewed on the web ?

no feedback yet, are they boring? well, it is for a slow song and the one with the black background will have some added effects later.

CC them..

Oh come on, coffee! You've just gotta look harder, that's all! lol

It's a very subtle change (unoticable if he hadn't told me first) but you can see it in her gown and hair.

Yeah, the first 2 defenitely look overexposed. The ones where she's on the ground though are perfect. Very nice lighting effect. :)

How do you simulate black and white diffusion with AE? At this point all I've got is crappy Magic Bullet for Premiere. :badputer:

thanks for the feedback everyone. I still have a lot to learn when it comes to exposure and CC. I actually just added only black diffusion with MB(that came with my dvx and Barry's book) on premiere. I still need to toy around with the cc more. I may reshoot some of the black background ones. I really did overexpose them too much. It doesn't look as bad when looking into the viewfinder. blah...I need a laptop.

well for the second grab i was going for the overexposed bright look but i didn't want to overexpose the 1st one. blaarrghh
