What problem did you have before?

A badly machined adapter could cause back focus problems and/or a sloppy fit to the camera, but it won't break anything.
I have two inexpensive M42 -m4/3 adapters, and they work fine. You can get better made ones (such as Novoflex) but you pay a premium.

before---i bought a kiron 28 f2 fd mount and adapter. in spite the fact seller said that whe lens work perfectly i coud not getit to work.blade remain wide all the time. i coud not get to undertsnad where the problem was, though someone told me the 1 series fd(breach lock) don't work with adapter, orit is very troublesome

The only issue I've had with adapters is that some of the cheap ones have focused past infinity. I currently have FD, m42, and m39 LTM adapters and no issues.

I haven't used Kiron or Series 1 lenses for FD mount, but I do know that getting an FD lens into an adapter is sometimes troublesome.

With FD lenses, if the iris lever on the back of the lens is in the wrong position when mounted to the adapter, the lens will not stop down. Try setting the lever in various ways when attaching the adapter.
Also check if you have an auto/manual switch on the lens, make sure it's set to M.
