C100: Joystick on grip not working on C100 mkII

Has anyone experienced this? The joystick on the display panel works fine, but the one on the handgrip doesn't respond at all. Any advice would be appreciated.

Unscrew the hand grip. Unplug it. Then re-plug it firmly. Very firmly. Might want to blow into the connector first to remove dust. This will fix it.

This. I ran into this very early on with my 300. I even give it a quarter turn just to make sure it's seated tightly.
 
Thanks, all for the tip! I tried plugging it in and out a few times even with a quarter turn with no success. I'll try again later this evening.
 
the end ring of the connector is the part that controls the joystick so make sure the connector is pushed in completly
 
Thanks, all, for the suggestions! Once I really forced it in there it began to work again. Felt very cautious when I firmly pressed it in there thinking I was going to break the tip off, but it works.
 
I use the Zacuto grip extender and experienced a bit of this when I first used it, but now it seems to have found it's groove and it is always working.
