I'm working on this intro for a live event coming up and would love some critique. There isn't an opportunity for a reshoot, but I would really appreciate a few comments on editing, style, order, etc....

Thanks a lot!

Here's a color corrected and film burned version:

it strobes, so check the method of how u slowed down the footage. A more pronounced backlight would have been nice and the piece i think can be a bit shorter.

All in all its nice...and the Joesf is looking pretty dapper in his tux

Thanks for the heads up Darren. I slowed my 60fps to 30% in Premiere. What would you recommend? I'll look into chopping it down more as well.

try 40%. i used 40% on native clips and its nice and smooth. however when i used trascoded footage( matrox hd codec to AVI) it strobes alot. I duno why. My friend said to try and just interpret the footage to 23.98. So right click on the clip in the bin and click interpret and what frame rate u want..i havent tried it yet though. But as i said the native files at 40% works

i figured out why i was having a prob with the trascoded footage. user error...i transcoded the 60p footage to my 24p preset. I shoot 60p so rarely i didnt even make a preset for it...so by routine i just bunched all the clips togther and transcoded.
