Has anybody ever experience a jerky image when footage that was shot 720/24PN "Native" and uprezzed?
 
24 footage just IS "jerky" depending on what and how it was shot.

you cant treat 24 shooting like 30 shooting and expect the same results...




plod, plod, plod... thats the sound of a 24 newbie panning
 
I understand that there's a difference between 24fps and 30fps. But this is not the same kind of "jerkyness", do you think that it needs a pulldown to uprez it to 60i?
 
Sounds like it may be that you were zoomed in, had the OIS on and were panning, am I correct? I had some weird jerkiness and I think it's because I was panning at the long end of the lens with the OIS on. Try turning the OIS off and see if that works.
 
OIS plus tripod plus pans will produce this.

It would be helpful if you explained what you are doing exactly by "uprezzing" 24pN 720 to 60i.
 
Okay, it looks like what was happening was the editor was placing 1080 footage on a 720 timeline.
