Japanese Horror Movie Trailer for class

i just find it funny. anyway back to it. i saw the ring 2 the other day but i couldt really enjoy it because of 13 year olds 25 of them being retarded so i need to go see it again. as for good horror asian films watch tale of two sisters. awesome we could go all day but lets just say im a chan woo park fan. OLDBOY! whoo!

I always try to come up with these intricate plots that go so indepth etc... and you take the simplest idea ever and make it work.

I like it - makes wanna see the movie.
 
There is a difference between paying homage and ripping off. All of the stuff you stole looked great..The rest is bland. Try mixing your own flavor in there. It never hurts to think outside of the box, (shots, dialogue,cuts).

Pay more attention to your actrors as well. They seem very flat at times, especially in dialogue. You can help this by tightening up some edits.

You can pay homage without having long black hair and crawling scenes.

I love that close-up of the hand, closing in with the static interference. Very cool, but...what does that have to do with lucid dreaming? Honestly if I were you, at this point I would make a ringu fan film out of it. The ring is so vast im sure there are many of stories that could come from the idea of the videotape and sadako.

Wow, looks pretty cool, man. I downloaded Version 3, I like it better personally. That little scene where the girl says "Is that a smile?" was great acting, I connected hehe :) Really believed it.

I think this would benefit with some letterboxing. It might just be me, but when I toggle the video with and without letterboxing in Vegas, I think the 16:9 looks more professional. (don't ask me to explain why, I guess I'm just used to movies being in widescreen).

Anyway, it looks excellent, visually and in the story.

oldboy looks promising. I notice the "video look" in the previews, maybe it was shot in digital. I dig it.

zmike- u saw verison 3? cool. I personally like it better, because every shot in that trailer was not wasted, it tells you a bit more of a story. Lucid dreaming is actually real, I've actually experienced it. All of them were good experiences. Well ..until one of them became a nightmare. I remenber waking up from a dream, and staring at decapitated head. It was just staring at me. I woke for real after that. creepy stuff. Anyway that prompt an idea for a movie!

Pretty Scary. Even though I've never seen a scary movie in my life...like, ever. Not one that SCARED me, just one that was SUPPOSSED to be scary...never seen a movie from that genre..they bore me.
