JANE DOE the movie teaser (a 7d feature film). Well here it is. We are about 40 percent in on shooting this film and I thought I'd cut a quick teaser. Basically doesn't say much about the story but just some visuals for people to see what we've been up to. I did a super quick CC job on this stuff but nothing extensive, mostly playing with levels.

If you have any questions about how I may have shot stuff or anything like that ask away!!!

Hope you like it. There are also some behind the scenes production stills on our facebook fanpage (link below)

looking good.. what lenses r you using?

Im going to shot my film on the 7D starting April

I have a Canon 50,, 1.4, canon 85, 1.8 and a Sigma 20mm 1.8

I also rent a fisheye 11-16 and have rented a 150mm ( i think it was) macro lens for the film.

Hey, you have some great compositions here. Would you mind pointing out which lenses you've used were? Not many people do this but it would really be cool to know!

sure. i shoot on a a 50mm, 1.4 an 85mm 1.8 (both canon) and a 20mm Sigma. I also do rent lenses on given days if i need something different. for example i've rented a macro and a fisheye 11-15mm i think or 11-16 something like that.

Thanks but what I meant was... if you could give some prime examples of which lenses you used in which shots. Maybe not for every shot but a breakdown of a few shots that represent each lens used and why that particular lens was your preferred choice for that shot. This would be REALLY useful for me and the others as well.

Thanks!

medium close (green tint) girl in hallway: 50mm

girl on bathtub floor (last shot) 50mm

HOpe this helps.

Yes, exactly.

I will sit down with this list and your trailer later this evening. I find it helps my own work to analyze the shot and lens choices of others (that do good work).

Thanks again!!!

Thanks guys. I'll be posting up some screen caps over the next few days cus I'm already starting to synch so wont really have time to do another trailer or anything. We've shot some pretty awesome stuff and the teaser we put up is just the tip of the iceberg.

The film is also getting a lot of interest from a business/distro standpoint too (we have a hollwood name in the film playing a lead character who'm I haven't disclosed to the public yet) so hopefully the film will get out there.
