The movie Undead was awesome, is that an inspiration for Rekindled.

Well, yeah, that's just playing back footage at a different rate than it was shot at. Basically exactly what the HVX does when in 24pN mode and shooting offspeed footage.Jack Daniel Stanley said:Barry ... can you tell me what it means to shoot film at 8fps but TRANSFER at 12fps?
That's just triple-time footage; set the HVX to 8fps and 720/24pN mode and you'll get the same effect, 8 transferred at 24. Make sure to be using the syncro scan shutter for the proper motion blur.8 transferred at 24
Never used cinema tools, so I don't know, but apparently you can instantly retime a clip to whatever fps you want, right? So that may help get these effects as well.... what does this mean and could I do it with the HVX and Cinema Tools?
Slimothy said:Jack, I think your budget monitor is broken yo. Is your budget still at 18 bucks?!
Jack Daniel Stanley said:lol,
clips is raw ... and there's virtually no noise ... look at the edges of the shadows, they are dancing like mad as the compression struggles to redraw the image.
Envision said:The edges is exactly what I was talking about. Anyway you can post the full rez of that? I've just not seen much HFX footage yet that has good shadows in it, so just curious.
For raw, the lighting & color you have in there is AMAZING!
