heehee, nice work man! When's Mark arriving in NYC?
heh heh 8 hours 11:00 ... and he's gotta help me finish.

These are of the raw location, set still has to be dressed (or I wouldn't be posting the pic).
So far we just cleared some stuff out of the way and moved this table in place ... check out the creepy orbs though ... maybe this place is haunted!

and because this post rolled over to a new page, here's the other set BtS for the apartment location, again, showing the paint job from Bone Hand which is about to be history...

Where do you find these trippy locations Jack? Do you just knock on doors and ask if they have a spooky attic, basement, or what? HOW DO YOU DO IT? :)

I think the creepy orbs may just be..... Water spots on your lens.
yah ... or dust :)

I have one pic from a ghost tour in New Orleans that has an orb that has a streak that changes its path at a hard angle ... pretty inexplicable. Not that I'm advocating its anything otherworldy but its a pretty cool coincidence to capture it on a ghost tour ...

... I'll have to fish it out some time ... no promises as Mark J and I are halfway through painting the set and have so much to do before we roll tomorrow at 9 pm ... including keeping Mark from falling off the ladder again

Hey barry my car could use a few gallons of embalming fluid... helps cover the "smell"

( although actually my car does smell of rotting flesh. My mom left a package of Ground beef in the back seat over a very long hot week in NY where we didint use that car cause it had no AC..... It is not a good thing to be near)

Hey Jack, do you need any embalming fluid? I could probably spare a few quarts...
oof ... I could use paint ... we ran out of paint.
4 AM we'll be up at 8
to home depot by 9
and we'll get this sucker done.

Barry ... can you tell me what it means to shoot film at 8fps but TRANSFER at 12fps?
I'm watching the BTS for UNDEAD (great indie australian zombie flick)
They shot 16mm film and they have some frame rate tests on there.

They have 12 and 8 etc, but then they also have
8 transfered at 12 and
8 transferred at 24
and even some other combos.
... what does this mean and could I do it with the HVX and Cinema Tools?

THX!
