I just got through mowing my yard....I miss my pool. Had to take it down due to a structural integrity problem.:furious3: At the same time breaking my 7yr old daughter's heart.

Just got done mowing my yard and skimming the pool. It's almost 100 in Arizona, but it feels hotter because it's kind of humid.

I was thinking about going in the pool, but it's monsoon season so everytime I do a thunderstorm pushes in.

I feel sorry for your daughter in Louisiana and no pool. i don't care what anybody says "hot IS hot", but I still prefer a dry heat. :)

Been here since May. Will be here for another 4 weeks, then back to Finland.

<<------ say's so right here!

It just hit 100 here in the Inland Empire. Sheesh. And the thunderheads are piling up on the mountain tops.

I love cold. Anything past 70 is too hot for me. I need cold. All that says is I shouldnt live in NC.

I love you, Canada.

Man its been the best New York summer I can ever remember. I mean, beautiful blue skies, no more than 80-85...no unbearable humidity to speak of....

its definitely a one-summer-out of-MANY type deals. cant complain at all.

Jeezo. It's been near or above 100 in Dallas since mid-May. The stupid place is hot, brown, flat, brown, dusty, brown and covered with strip malls. If you can't tell, I'm not a native. :)

same here.

I just moved to Texas a matter of months ago.

Needless to say, it's been a hard adjustment from Colorado (and Washington).

I cried myself to sleep the first few nights.

Summer sucks.

Dude's, I work out at DFW as a valet, standing outside in this 100 degree weather is crazy, but I did.

The rest of you are little girls when you say it's hot around 90 degrees. It's been 104-105 here in Texas forever! And we're talking 100% humidity. You can't even breathe the air it's so thick.

AAhhh! woke up this morning to the blissful sounds of RAIN!!!!!
The downside?
HUMIDITY....ITs worse than heat in Louisiana.

What a coincidence. It's been raining in the Phx area for a few hours now. Some flash-flood type stuff and amazing lighting storms. I feel like sitting upstairs and watching the storm for a while, but I'd better get some work done.

100 degrees in Austin. Man, that humidity will kill you. I'd rather have 120 in Phx then 95 with 100% humidity. I'm girlie and would pass out.
