Just arrived! Praise God. I'm one of a tiny few in Australia with one! Played with it already and its awesome!!!! Thats the Kowa 6mm 1.8 on the front, works great in 4K!

This thread is useless without a link that we can watch. Poor form to post a link to a closed group that no one can see.

I joined the FB group and still can't find the video. :/

If you want to share your test, I highly recommend a video sharing site (Vimeo, Youtube, etc) than a social media one. If you don't want it to be public for just anyone to see, you can always password protect / unlist the video.
 
I can't figure out if this is a post about Facebook, god...or the gh4 ? Hummm.....but if you're using the 6mm Kowa , you've got to be using it in ETC mode, which makes it far less impressive in terms of focal length.

Hmmm. David, this counts as poaching? I agree that he needs to use something other than FB to host his video.
 
Looks like it doesn't vignette in the 4k mode but is a little soft around the edges. Since the video is on the private group on FB, I can't link to it, but here is a screengrab I took from the HD stream on facebook. Stuff you upload to FB stays on FB (They've designed it to be an insular community to prevent traffic from being driven away from the site). You need to share the video here, but you can't embed an uploaded video from a FB group, and that's by design. If you'd like to discuss it here (or anywhere that isn't that private group), please upload it somewhere that can be embedded here. Otherwise, there is nothing to talk about.

Interesting that you did some digging on me, but my personal life and beliefs are not relevant to this discussion. Those kinds of discussions can be had in private message if you wish. Meanwhile, you've got it backwards as I was trying to defend you and give the benefit of doubt (or, you may be more familiar with the term "dan l'kaf zechus" if you want to throw transliterated Hebrew around some more), as another moderator pointed out you may be in violation of the rules.

Perhaps I was mistaken in wanting to hear you out. I thought your subject sounded interesting and wanted to see what you had to share, but perhaps he was right and this is nothing more than a troll attempt to drive traffic elsewhere. I'll give you another chance to share with the community here, otherwise I may have to regretfully take the appropriate action as per the rules of the forum. Thanks for understanding.
