It's Almost Time...

[Andrew Brinkhaus]

Even though I didn't have time or resources for the sci-fi contest, as the days run down and people get closer and closer to deadline, I am getting very excited! I know their are going to be a lot of entries, and with the new server update with no-wait streeming, this contest is going to be awesome! I can't wait to start seeing the films and voting! Congratulations to everyone who is entering and good luck!

I cant wait for this to become an international film fest like Sundance. The way its been going I bet a few more and the big buzz will start.
Its going to be nice to say I was here since the beginning.

Are there many other online film festivals?

[Brandon Rice]

ditto Aram! ditto!

[avatuar]

Is there anyway we can start the buzzzzzzz?

[bc5431]

(or if not the begining, at least one right after the begining...)

[JimtheJib]

can we start a buzz if we aren't allowed to talk about our film.... i think if we could talk or advertise more elsewhere it could genereate MORE buzz

[wcs]

JimtheJib... I'm not a big fan of purposefully generated buzz. There's an organic buzz/anticipation that comes with respect and quality, and then there's advertising which has no relation to the quality of the product.

yea i guess. im not sure i would want this to become a "big" online fest anyway . i like the small size and the familiarity
