C100: Issues with Denoiser III + Premiere Pro CC 2017

Hi guys

I'm working with C100 footage using the latest version of Premiere Pro + DeNoiser III. Although the denoiser appears to work on some clips, with others it causes a very noticeable flicker, worse than the original noise. It's a bit all over the place but it's most noticeable in scenes with lots of detail in focus, i.e. wide mountain shots.

Has anyone, in general, observed this also? Any tips?

Just a quick little add-on: It's by far most noticeable in shadow areas... I haven't fully figured out the right mix of denoise intensity/color smoothing/detail retaining/etc.. Perhaps it has something to do with this mix.
