T2i Issue with Lilliput 869 GL

Hi,

I just bought a Lilliput 869 GL monitor to hook up to my Canon T2i/550d. When I connect the monitor using HDMI and power it on, I see the image on the monitor. But the camera shuts off in 2 seconds and doesn't turn back on. I need to take out the battery and put it back again. Then the same thing happens. The monitor does not say "No Input" when the camera shuts off. It is stuck with the last scene. All this is without hitting the record button. Has anyone had a similar experience and what would be the fix? I am running Magic Lantern on my T2i. Any help is much appreciated.

EDIT: It was the Magic Lantern. I formatted the card and everything works fine. Anyone know how to get he Lilliput working with Magic Lantern on the T2i?

Thanks,
Chan

Try changing out your HDMI cable. I have had a similar problem in the past that yields "Err 80" on the 7D's top screen, and I believe it's due to a malfunctioning HDMI cable - perhaps the cable has a slight short that returns a minute amount of line voltage to the camera, which causes the camera to shut off.

I don't think it's your monitor, so try replacing the cable first.
