GH2 ISO/exposure/frame rates question

hiya guys,
just got my gh2. to say the menu/manual is problematic for me is a little understatement. i assume these will iron themselves out over time. i wonder if someone could help with the manual mode when its on creative camera. i know individually what iso/exposure/frame rates do but in conjunction with one another is where i get muddled. e.g. would one ideally change exposure or the iso ? and what do people do when there is a situation where the exposure changes quite a bit ?
any advice would be great as at the moment its a lot of trial and error.

thanks a lot,folks.

If your just starting out you might play around in Shutter priority mode (S).

For 1080p@24fps set your shutter to 1/50 and let the camera float the aperture and ISO (set the ISO limit to like 800) to get the exposure right.

For 720p@60fps set your shutter to 1/125.

This will get you started capturing useable footage without fiddling with full manual control.
