[FS: General] ISCORAMA LENS for ANAMORPHIC work. (Built for Runco Renier - Premium glass)

I have an Anamorphic lens that was created by Iscorama for Runco Reinier. It originally sold for between $6000-$8000. It has higher quality glass than the Iscorama 54's which it resembles and are popular right now. It is a 1.3x. I worked with a German optics professor who is well known here (Dr. Klaus Schmitt) to build a structure around it and have extra diopters for close up work which are very rare for it's size (92.5mm). There are two tiny microscratches on it's back element which were there from origin at time of purchase, before we did the conversion. As it is an amorphic lens (used to eliminate distortion in abnormally wide throws) they are therefore inconsequential, and this was re-confirmed by Iscorama themselves. If this lens interests you let me know.

I am attaching the following images of the lens. We built the rear threads with a 77mm diameter, the rotating locking pin unit to change / level out the anamorphic plane, and the the front threaded holder for the diopters. (92.5mm). The diopters for work in the closer 6 meter range are quite rare and one would have difficulty finding them in this size normally.

Click the images for larger versions.

Image 5179 (top row, right - see detail below left) shows the 2 small microscratches which are of origin (before our conversion) and I also have a letter/email confirmation (in German) confirming the lens is from Iscorama and that the image quality is not affected by them, if you are interested in it's pedigree.

Additionally there is a small chip on the .5 diopter near the edge, which is also of origin before us and does not affect image quality because of it's peripheral nature.

As I said before the anamorphic lens itself was quite an expensive piece at the time it came out (between $6000-$8000) and the sharpness of the lens is clearly a step up from a conventional Isco 54.

Cheers,
Clayton
