Hello,

I got my c100 in today, I turned it on everything was over exposed meaning full white kinda, I noticed there was a fall off towards the left of the screen making things slightly darker, is this normal from this lcd screen?

Thanks

Did you have a lens attached with lens cover removed? Could just be the lens causing the darker edges? I've not noticed it on my C100 but probably haven't had the right circumstances to see it. I'll check tomorrow and report back :)

John.

Thanks. It's not that bad really it's just a bit noticeable. I just want to know if this kind off "normal".

It get's a bit darker on the edges if you use an EF-S lens (like the 17-55). You need to turn on a setting to get rid of that. Not sure if that's your problem though.

I just noticed that it is darker on the left side of the screen barely noticeable but still there. I notice it specially when I bring on the color bars, and I see that the white all the way In the left is almost grey.

Does it record this way or only look that when looking at the cam's LCD? In other words is this on the footage? You mention it's on the color bars, sounds like a screen problem.

It only looks this way on the LCD not on the actual footage. I'll post pictures later on today.

Here is a picture, check the white on the left compared to the white in the bottom towards the middle. Id love if one of you take the same picture with the color bars for comparison. Id really appreciate that. Maybe my mind is playing tricks on me???
