Hello!

I just bought a 5DMK2 and i have very unpleasant color noise in my videos. Even at ISO 100. Is this normal or is my camera defect?
I uploaded a screenshot of the video where you can clearly see it..

- Everything was set to neutral
- Colorspace: AdobeRGB
- Video Mode: 24p
- Long exp. noise reduction: ON
- High ISO speed noise reduction: STRONG
- Highlight tone priority: DISABLE

I think you might be suffering from a case of the pixel peeping. I recently got a 5D as well and went through this same process. I discovered all the compression issues, and the artifacting and the noise etc but ultimately we have all gone crazy with the pixel peaking. A better judgement would be to as your grandmother if she can see (insert tech issue here). The odds are she won't be able to. So to answer your question, I don't see anything out of the ordinary.

Yes it's normal! The data recorded by the 5D is not so high (i'm waiting for the ML firmware...), and you can have blocky pixels in your shot. I came from the Panny AVCIntra100 and the difference is HUGE!!!
