I forgot how good it was... I'm laughing remembering different episodes now... like when he rigged a fan under an old caddy for a deluxe lawn mower. Red Green is what blue collar comedy would have been if it was clever. I like how he always ended the show with a thought as he was making fishing flies... damn, I'm gettin' warm fuzzies.
I just did a wiki on this... that show ran for 15 YEARS! Damn! 300 episodes...

I had no idea Red Green ran that long. I caught some of this one time on PBS I believe and it hooked me the first time. I think Monty Python was funnier but I did enjoy his brand of humor. Sometimes I didn't laugh until later when I thought about what was said. The really funny stuff was the stuff I told my friends about.

Never even heard of the Red Green show. 15 years and never once........wtf?

It was a Canadian show that some PBS stations carried down here, that's probably why.

Me too! I also learned that there are, apparently, Canadian rednecks. That seems weird, too. "The northern south will rise again!"

Dude was wild. The humor was real low key sometimes, kind of like some of the ATHF, where sometimes you were just left with your mouth hanging open going, "What did I just watch." Then it times the humor was in your face.

If you ever get a chance, rent some DVDs of the show. Absolutely one of the best shows I've seen.
