Winter, a Fairy Tale

Okay, Now it's really really done. No more changes. No more last minute edits. No more nothing but attaching the music to it when it is written, compress the whole lot and have it uploaded by deadline.

Wow, man. You're grabs are looking really nice... And, you're almost finished! Congrats.

Good luck, man. This one is highly anticipated for me.

Later,
Jason

Ted, Jason,
Thanks for the nice thoughts. We (the Wild Imagination Team and everyone else) really threw everything into this film. The more we worked on it the more everyone got behind it and the more it just started driving itself. We had originally said there would be only practical effects in it and we kept to our decision. We built a set for our main scene and did location work for everything else. In one scene we were shooting I later found out the temperature was 22 degrees.
This film started out as an idea in my head and quickly became an idea in everyones heads. No one person made this film. Without the assistance of ever single member of the cast and crew, it wouldn't have happened.
I am really excited about entering this in the fest and regardless of the outcome, I hope everyone takes a moment (actually 5min and 58 seconds of moments) to watch it. Not for me, but for everyone who worked on it.

After accidentally seeing the post about the end credits being "AFTER" the last scene, an artistic choice had to be discarded and a new edit done. Now it's finished and the rendering begins.

I had to advance the video a few seconds in order to meet compliance. I don't think it's going to wind up critical but I'll be taking a new render to the composer tomorrow evening.

I'm going to be watching yours first sir, it made me think. If its the one i think you're doing!

Good luck to you sir!

Dustin

No Luis, we decided the ass-kicking fairy tale was in poor taste. So instead we went with a really sweet and poignant fairy tale. JK
Yup, it's the kick ass one.
Everything is going to be a race to the wire. Final compression should be going by noon tomorrow and then in line to upload.

Winter, A Fairy Tale is now uploaded to the contest. Look for more grabs in the coming days. Right now, I'm going to bed. I'm so tired I don't even wanna think about films.
Monday I am starting on the behind the scenes, making of, ultimate cool edition of Winter, The DVD. I feel I owe it to the people who did such a great job on this project. I hope everyone likes this film as much as we enjoyed working on it. I have enjoyed the banter and the ribbing in the threads and look forward to relaxing and WATCHING the other entries.
Congratulations to all who get one turned in. Thanks again to the wonderful hosts of this site and the contest and most of all thanks to the cast and crew of Winter.

Great poster - congrats on getting everything finished up and uploaded.
I know if you were able to get even half of what were hoping to into this film, this is going to be one to watch for.

Looking forward to it, Will.
