Is there currently or on the way a Sony FF e-mount equivalent of the FS7 (ie Pro A7s)

Would love a "pro" version of the A7sII in a larger camera body with features, codecs, etc. like the FS7.

Built in XLR, ND Filters, etc.

Does something like this exist, or are there rumors of one being on the way?

Latest rumour says there might be a full frame e-mount camcorder in similar form factor to the FS5 announced at NAB. But priced slightly above the FS7.
I thought that already the FS5 would be full frame, and Sony recently announced a full frame e-mount surveillance camera.
A ff video camera would be great with lenses as the 28-135 and the new 24-70 and 70-200...

I'd say, a likelier version is a camcorder version of A7RII, updated for a faster sensor readout in the s35 mode + codec, etc.

A7SII pretty much does what it does already.

I would happily pay a bit above FS7 list price for a FF version of the FS5 with a better codec.

I also REALLY REALLY REALLY wish Sony would add VFR. It's ridiculously useful. Super slow motion is too slow. Subtle slow motion is what it's all about. So obnoxious this is only on Panasonic cameras because they are dragging on everything mid range.

I think Sony should come out with a 4K 60p upgrade of the full frame VG900 E mount camcorder with the A7s II 12mp sensor and UHS-II V90 support with high bit rate. The Sony FE PZ 28-135mm f/4 G OSS power zoom cine lens need a full frame camcorder .

Joe,

unfortunately it it was only you and 3-4 others that bought the VG900 ;)
I think the VG line is dead.

A full frame video camera in the FS series make perfect sense to me. If you look at the surveillance camera with a full frame sensor and e-mount that they announced, it's pretty much a black box with a lens. Almost like an FS700 without any buttons or display. But I'm sure the guts of that can be shaped to fit a FS5 like body.

I agree about a full frame FS series camcorder since the A7s II body is too small to be used with the full frame Sony FE PZ 28-135mm f/4 G OSS power zoom cine lens and other large FE mount lenses like the new Sony FE 70-200mm f/2.8 GM OSS Lens . BTW the main reason I purchased the VG900 back in 2012 was because it was the first full frame mirrorless and most of my lenses at the time were Pentax K mount and it also shot 24mp raw still images along with 1080p60.
