is there an HVX Book coming?

I noticed in another thread that Barry mentioned that once one starts to get into the "film" mode as opposed to the "video" mode, that the HVX gets complex to use. Since I'm gonna wanna learn as quickly as possible how to get the film look, I'm hoping that there are plans to release an HVX book to help us less experienced filmmakers get on our feet with the HVX.

Just asking. Can't wait for this. I watched the footage before going to an orientation for my first job.

Guess what every single penny I make is going to? The HVX, a Mac with the proper fixings, and (hopefully) and HVX book.

Thanks.

Barry said he would dive into writing the book as soon as he got the cam and it would be out some time in the first quarter of '06. I think the more interesting info. is that Jan indicated that the book would be included in later shipments. Barry's book is just about a must-have item, so it's definitely giving me the incentive to wait a little.:)

I'm looking forward to reading the Owners Manual, actually. Panasonic often posts these on their site. It's a good way to learn about the specifics of the device before you actually get it.

Good point, The DVX book and DVD Barry put out was very helpful to me.

As soon as I get back from DV Expo, I'm unplugging the internet connection, taking the phone off the hook, and locking the door until I emerge three weeks later with a 900-page manuscript and a beard that I can trip on. :cheesy:
