Is there a way to downconvert

Hi there I'm a new A1 owner and was wondering if anybody knows of a way to record footage in 60i and then down convert it to sd into the computer so that i can have all my footage recorded in 60i on tape but edit everything in 24f?? any helpy would be great thanks guys

I don't understand exactly what you want. There is a downconvert option in the menu but if you shot 60i why would you edit in 24fps? 24F records in 24 discrete frames (not embedded in a 60i stream) and if you downconvert 24F it becomes 60i footage with a 2:3 pulldown.
