Hello all,
I am currently in the limbo of trying to decide which dslr to purchase, the 7D or the T2i. I have been weighing many of the pros and cons to each camera, and one of the topics that I have not seen covered is how the T2i is viewed in the professional realm.
These days it is not uncommon to see the 5D and or 7D used as a Main Camera on set, as they have both more than proved themselves as reliable cameras. However, if I were to purchase a T2i and indeed attempt to use it as a main camera professionally as well as personally, would I run into scrutiny for using this new and significantly less expensive camera for Free lance productions. Most of the shoots I would be working are in the commercial/corporate/broadcast realm.
I know of course that no client would spit at me at the sight of the camera, but as I am sure all of you know, clients often find confidence in a larger/more familiar rig, and get nervous around at the sight of something less professional.
Any insight or experience in matters like this would be much appreciated! As this is just one of the several deciding factors into my upcoming purchase (I'm sure I will be delving into the rest shortly haha.)
Thanks guys!
