Is the Canon Kiss x 4 the same as the 550d/T2i?

[TraumaBunny]

Is there any difference between a Canon Kiss x 4 and a Canon T2i? The specs seem the same but they're selling the Kiss x 4 for far less than the T2i.

Is there a reason it's cheaper? Does anyone here own a Japanese Canon Kiss x 4?

They are the same. But if you care about the warranty, don't get the Japanese version if you live in a different country. Its warranty is only honored in Japan, just like the American T2i's warranty is only honored in the U.S.
