Is the Canon 60d still a good camera to buy for video now?

I use the 60D on music video shoots both big and small budgets. A lot of the time, people get fixated on the camera and not the glass. For me and my clients, while we want to produce beautiful images, cost is always a big factor (and I've shot on RED on one shoot in the past 10). For my clients, the audience is the general public on YouTube and TV; not the cinema. Sure, higher dynamic range blah blah blah, but you throw a set of CP.2's on the 60D, and you'll get some amazing images.

When clients are involved. I don't think it's ever a simple case of "which camera is best". It think it's more down to "What can the budget afford, and what do I really need". I mean, heck, imagine shooting a YouTube blog in your bedroom on RED.

I always give my clients the choice. They can pay to rent what ever they want or I will throw in two 60Ds and all my lenses and other gear at no extra charge. I rent one camera in 10 shoots as well. When a camera comes along that makes as much money for 4 years runing then I will buy it.
