hey just noticed somthing yesterday whe i was outside shooting i notice i see like flickers on the lcd and through the eyepiece when i film i see them on illumonated source like lights or bright sun ligt etc never caught or seen it before is there somthing wrong with my cam ??? if so what ??? know when i see the footage it clean nothing wrong with it no flickers like an ocilatation

i prssed the button and it sem to stop what precisely are the zebras and what is the button for ???? ill ask this stupid question so i wont be stupid no more lol
 
It shows you where the signal blows out because the exposure is too hot.
 
Well...yes. But the lower one (set at 80% out of the box?), can tell you highlights are ok, with the upper zebra telling you there's too much damn light.

Kinda like a go/no-go sparkplug gauge. :)
