THe new SanDisk Extreme (for Video) 30Mb/s Class 10 cards are apparently SDHC 2.0.

Anybody know if they work with GH1(3)??

Many thanks
Lucas

Does "SDHC 2.0" exist as a specification?

I can find "SD 2.0" easily enough (which appears to be the same as SDHC) but "SDHC 2.0" escapes my Binging and Googling abilities (admittedly, I'm currently a little tipsy).

All SD cards with a capacity larger than 4 GB must use the SDHC 2.0 implementation at minimum
SDHC - supported (till 32Gb);
SDXC - not - as not supported exfat in firmware
in SDHC consist SDHC UHS-I - that support relies on card backward compatibility to sdhc hosts ( think that mainly will be implemented ) ...

A couple of links would be useful for this conversation.

- A link to the "new SanDisk Extreme (for Video) 30Mb/s Class 10 cards."

- A link to the "SDHC 2.0 implementation."

I have an Extreme 32GB that works fine in my GH13 that look exactly like the 16GB card in that eBay auction, except for the 32GB. I have lpowell's Peak Performance hack and my card works great... Al

Thanks for the link, Lucas. I was looking on sandisk.com and couldn't see a card of that spec (still at 20MBs/sec there), but here it is on our sandisk.co.uk backwater:

http://www.sandisk.co.uk/products/camcorder/sandisk-extreme-hd-video-sdhc

So at least there is such a card outside of ebay.

As for this "SDHC 2.0" malarky, I strongly suspect the seller means "SD 2.0".

SD 2.0 = SDHC.

That line on his page is in "Engrish" and likely not copied from SanDisk with the rest. He's probably covering his bottie against claims from people with older, SD only, hardware. You can find web pages discussing "SDHC 2.0" compatibility from a year ago (where they are clearly talking about the difference between SD and SDHC), so it's an imaginary title that has been around for a while.

Yup, that all makes sense. Thanks.
