is possible to record video out of 7D?

I tried to find some thread for this question, but nothing....
i want to record video out from 7d HDMI with external recorder.
I not want to record with 7d, then i thought to power on 7d, manual focus, manual diaframs, manual iso, and from HDMI try to record a better signal then internal h264 on card.... but ....

i cannot disable the white square of focus, anyone can help me to disable it?
i not found correct menu or option to disable it...
if i not have it, i have the face detection square...

The white square and red dot are why people don't do this. They cannot be removed.

Yeah, the best you can do is move that square down to the very bottom or top of the frame and then crop your footage to anamorphic. If your willing to do that then your in good shape to capture it on a card like the black magic
