Is my DVX a LEMON???

Okay..here's my situation: My camera is my baby, something many of you can relate with I'm sure. I slept on couches for months to get the money to buy it and it's really all I own. That being said, with only 40 hours on it, the zoom motor went up and the entire lense had to be replaced. Now that it's back, I took it on a shoot and had the audio completely go out on me and the white balance would jump around anytime anything entered the frame. Unless there's something I completely overlooked, this camera has some serious issues. I know how incredible the DVX is, but maybe I just got a lemon??? Is that even possible? Can I ask for a replacement? :crybaby:

If you have Auto Track White on, it would explain the white balance issues.

I know when I thought the audio was out in mine, it was simply a switch.

That could be it, you're gonna want to switch the audio to live.

Thanks guys!! Stil can't figure out the audioproblem. It went out in the middle of a shooting... I Have both channels set to INT and still nada. Any other ideas???

have you checked the audio since then? do you get an input signal? cause it could always be your headphones, or if your using an external it could be a bad cable. i'd hate to think that since you're using the onboard mic that something may have come loose....
