Is it really worth it to go to the 7D from the T2i?

Yeah, I'm pretty much 100% stuck on getting a Canon DSLR.

My view is pretty much a T2i with better ergonomics and a rugged build-quality (5D/7D league). Therefore, looks like the 60D is my option here.
 
Are the ML features for the 60D the exact same as the T2i or does the T2i have more mature and stable versions?

The narrative material I'm finding online isn't looking as good as some from the T2i... It's obviously the user in these situations because the cameras are essetially the same. Is it because the T2i seems to be a more popat choice than the 60D?

Yes it does, and it's absolutely fantastic!
 
So given the right user, the 60D can do the exact same as the T2i? I think I'm definitely going with the 60D and then keeping a T2i as a backup body.
