AC90: Is it possible to defeat the color bars button?

Hello,

I just received my AC90 and found a small problem, at least for me: The color bars button is conveniently placed in a location where I can accidentally press it during filming. I do a lot of solo, single cam, wedding work and the last thing I want to do is bring up color bars when I'm trying to white balance during the wedding ceremony. I searched the manual and found no answers. I can place a piece of tape over it, but that's not exactly idiot proof. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
 
probably won't work but-- paperboard and gaffer tape? I doubt there is room. (paperboard I am thinking about is about 1/3 the thickness of cardboard)
 
To expand on ELN614's comments, what about a thicker piece of card, say about twice the thickness of the protruding button, then cut a recess in one face to accomodate the buttton and then tape this "cap" in place.
