Is Component Out of the HVX 200 HOT?

I read elsewhere that Panasonic does not recommend using the component out cable to a HD plasma, etc. because it overheats the cam?

Could be incorrect on that, but I was wondering if this has some truth to this observation.

Don't know anything about that; I've used it for hours and hours at a time.

What I have heard about heat is that this is why they don't have firewire input->component output, that the combination somehow overheats the system.

But as far as just using it and monitoring it? I've had it running for several hours with no problem.

I believe that it was I must have read, and Jan also confirmed it on another board.
