Is anybody still working on a firmware hack?

Should be down to a hundred now as I just donated $50.

Question Vitaliy,I noted it wasn't listed, is 25P output for the HDMI a reasonable/possible request?

Thanks. Yes, if you check my signature, we are at $100.

I want to be honest here. Making unfounded promises is not the thing I will be doing.
Looking at existing firmware images I can see that we can't really modify sensor settings without docs.
We also do not know if 50i is purely software (after true 50p sensor readout) or it is special hardware setting.
To conclude, I can't answer your question today.

Chipped in $10. I'd donate more, but these pesky student loans apparently require some payment on my part ;p

If can swing a few more bucks later, I certainly will. Thanks for all your hard work.

22 of April will be more appropriate date.
Birthday of V.Lenin.
So, we'll name GH1 project as "Lenin's project".
And GH2 project as "Stalin's project".

"Capital must protect itself in every possible way, both by combination and legislation. Debts must be collected, mortgages foreclosed as rapidly as possible. When, through process of law, the common people lose their homes, they will become more docile and more easily governed through the strong arm of the government applied by a central power of wealth under leading financiers. These truths are well known among our principal men, who are now engaged in forming an imperialism to govern the world. BY DIVIDING THE VOTERS THROUGH THE POLITICAL PARTY SYSTEM, WE CAN GET THEM TO EXPEND THEIR ENERGIES IN FIGHTING FOR QUESTIONS OF NO IMPORTANCE. It is thus, by discrete action, we can secure for ourselves that which has been so well planned and so successfully accomplished."

Montagu Norman, Governor of The Bank Of England, addressing the United States Bankers' Association, New York, 1924.

Translation of Stalin opinion about western banks and their role in other countries fate will be too long, and it is known anyway :-)
Libya is quite good example :-)

Great would it help if any of us contributed more money to get overnight shipping of the gh1's?

Sorry for beingso anxiou but am very excited to help get this project on its feet.

Thanks again for all your work and the work that lays ahead.

Wow thats some slow post. Not to be a total bother but is there a speculation as to when the gh1 dump will happen. Would love to put this thing in as a b cam in a professional setting

Thanks again

OK, I 'll throw my unhackable GH1 into the pot as well, Vitaliy can send me the shipping address.

Appropriately enough, this was the same GH1 I used to develop the Reliable In-Camera Playback Patch and the Fast-Action 3-Frame GOP Patch. I had to send it back to Panasonic for a warranty repair, and it came back unhackable.

What would sweet is if it ended up being not only the first GH1 to run those two patches, but the first v1.34 GH1 to be cracked as well!

lpowell does the new version of ptool already have all your patches in it or do they have to be added via the ini file?
