Is a Sennheiser MKE 600 too big to comfortably use on a C70?

I don't use a C70. I use a Sennheiser MKH 416 on the C300 series, C200 etc. The Canon mount induces some play, so use some rings etc. Rycote invision thing works better.

I broke one older recite softie and found that the inside mess appeared to be something commonly available. nothing rocket science.

Anyone here use 8060? Several times I had thought of buying a Sanken CS-M1 but couldn't.
 
Have you considered the Rode NTG-5? It is short, light, has great internal gain and the sound quality is neutral. I normally use a Rode NTG-3 with my Canon C300 MK III, but with the recent acquisition of a Canon R5c I have added the NTG-5, which is a perfect fit for the R5c.
