Is a heavier camera smoother on a glidecam?

Thanks! It was a big investment, but it's fantastic to finally be able to take any kind of job with any kind of camera, without worries about hitting the limits of my rig. I end up hitting my own limits far before my rig does!

Understandable.

I want to get into doing steadicam stuff, but don't have the money for the initial investment and do not want to invest in a rig that is going to limit my jobs (I have friends that own Reds and one with an F900, and neither of those are going to fly on anything lower than MAYBE a flyer super stripped down....)
