Hi

I'm curious to know if it's possible to load a curve downloaded from a website, onto GH1.

Like this (on Nikon D90)

Is this also possible on GH1 as well?

Or, if you have other options to make the look similar to the one above, please share your thoughts!

No, it's not possible.
Nikon has the capability of loading custom curves created in its software, and using those curves in video and still pictures. Panasonic does not have that capability.
Shoot with your GH1 in a flat color, and color grade using software. It's much easier to add colors than to take away to much that has been added by in camera processing. You don't want to max out in the in camera saturation, then realize in editing that it's to saturated. Taking it back out usually ruins the clip....it just turns to mush. However you can tweak the colors back up in editing easily, and the clip retains it's sharpness, to a point.

The Smooth film mode with Contrast -2, Sharpness 0, Saturation 0, and NR -2 is the best dynamic range and flattest mode available on the GH1, allowing for the most color correction.

I understand. Thanks for the information!

And by the way, CColton, what's Emory's settings for FPN reduction? I'm just curious. what does it do??

There's a link in my signature, and we can't really figure out why it works, but for some reason, it's less noisy haha. The film mode also has a lot to do with noise, I use different profiles at high ISO to lessen the noise/FPN.
