iPhone Users - A quick question

Just wondering if any iPhone users here could me a huge favor and check your bill to see how much data you're using a month.

I don't have an iPhone - but I'm debating getting one and At&t no longer offers unlimited data plans. I have no idea how much data I should expect to need, so just trying to get an idea of what people are using on a monthly basis.

Thanks.

Last month I used 700ish mb. This billing cycle (6 days in) I have used 159mb. My wife rarely hit 100mb, she has the first tier data plan.

We don't do text messaging, but had the unlimited data plan for two years.

I did a check recently and found that the most data I used in one month for the last 24 or so was 100 MBs. We saved $15.00 and went to the 200 MB plan

I typically use over a gig and my plan (Rogers in Canada) is set to 500Mb. However, if I know I going to be using a lot I try and find a wifi spot, then it's free and doesn't count against your provider limit.

I have used 245 MB in 25 days of this billing cycle... I would say that's about average for me. The 200 MB/month plan is not quite enough for me (but fortunately I am grandfathered in with the unlimited plan).

Anywhere from 1GB to 2GB a month. It depends on how much I'm traveling (I use Pandora streaming radio in the car a lot).

My bills for the past six months have been in the 150-300 MB range. This is using facebook, email, downloading the occasional apps/songs on the cell network - basically the only thing I intentionally save for wi-fi is videos/youtube. Anything else, I just fire it up wherever I am.

Over a years period it ranges from 300MB - 800MB. There was one random month I hit 1.4GB. I dunno what I was doing that month!

I lucked out and got a 6gb a month promo for the price of 500mb if I signed up for 3 years. But I almost never go over 500mb. Some months I barely crack 100mb. But I work from home so I'm usually in range of a wifi signal. I'd say if you're on the road a lot definitely get the higher plan. If you spend most of your time at an office or at home in range of wifi, probably no need of more than 500m a month. The only cool thing about having 6GB is that if I ever have an internet outage, I can tether my computer to my iphone and surf over 3G, having a lot of bandwidth to play with. That happened to me once, and I still got great upload and download speeds over the 3g network.

Thanks for the info everyone - that really helps in giving me some expectations of where I might wind up.
At&t is now only offering two data plans as far as I know, 200MB/mo and 2GB/mo.

Annoying that it's no longer unlimited - but I may still take the plunge.
We'll see.

I don't have an iPhone but data is data. I used 835MB last month. It was my first month with the phone so I've been on it fairly often. But even still, I couldn't imagine ever using 200MB or less. That seems like a very dangerous data plan.

I'm using around 1gb a month.

I've always had the unlimited data plan. Am I "grandfathered" in?

I can't get off the bloody thing (this message in fact comes from my I-friend)
At least 1 gig. I'm on unlimited though.
