This is the intro to a 74 minute music documentary I shot at the beginning of the year in Guinea, West Africa. We used two A1's and an HV20.

I am leaving in two weeks to do another video, but this time with 2 A1's, 2 HV30's, and a Canon 5d Mark II. Will probably shoot 30P to keep everything looking the same.
The clip I am posting has some frame rate issues because I put 60i shots in my 24P timeline. I was too strapped for time to change those shots, but now wish I did.
The video is basically a video CD, so people who are really into African music can see 8-10 minute performance scenes in different locations throughout the country.
Let me know what you think! I am also still trying to decide on the exact frame rate for this upcoming shoot. Don't know if I want to deal with the different 24P formats of the cameras, and then add the 5D in there too. I am assuming 30P will just be a heck of a lot easier, considering I would like to do 50% of the editing in the field.
Oh yeah, and I was going to shoot the A1's with VIVIDRGB to match the look of the HV30's. Not sure where the 5D will fall into this but the closer I can get these to match out of camera, the less color correction I will be forced to do. I noticed the HV30 quality does not respond well to corrections in FCP.
Any suggestions?
