i cant remember the exact procedure, but i remember a discussion on personalviews about a cooler white balancing to get rid of the red noise.

Yeah.this is what drives me crazy about the Gh2. if only there was a way to get rid of this crap then I'd be more than happy. already pretty satisfied about the camera and V's hack, but damn this codec to hell.

Dang Sage...how is it that you keep managing to get the best out of this cam? Nice pics. Nothing about them says video at all.
Ok, I'm a noob here, I cant find the hack anywhere, where can I download the file pleaseeeeeeeee?!! I didnt find it on Personal forum, plus there are hundreds of messages in there.
I'm thinking of hooking up a RC battery too cause being able to shoot for at least 7 hours is just the bees knees - will still weigh in the costs of the two solutions. But hearing that you can fry your GH2 if you hook it up wrong way around does scare me cause for me (with the exchange rate) $800 is a lot of money  But I was thinking of checking, double checking, and triple checking that I build a protection circuit into such a hack even before I hook up the RC battery via the DC-coupler - $90 for a Panasonic battery is quite steep really since everything including the camera is still made in China.
The ini files, how do they work?! I got Ptool 3.62 + the base firmware, and the 44 mbps hack right now, I want the 176 mbps one, but I don't understand any of this, how this works, plus I asked the question on the thread I was given above (thanks for that) but Vitaly erased the messages, saying it would have consequences if we asked any questions, wtf?!
Heh guys, what i see from the Driftwood's 176m setting look's great but should i use it a a professional shoot? I've been using Cb's 44/34 settings so far, and i like the results but the 176 footage looks much better.
If i do use 176, will it affect my workflow and how much card space does it use? I've got 2 x 32gig and 2x 16gigs Sandisk extreme's. Will that be enough for a 10 hour shoot?
Cheers
Btw...I did read that it reduces sky 8-bit banding a bit, anyone did see better results with using grad filters aswell ?
