C300: Interval Recording

Can someone explain to me in more detail about the interval recording for the C300.

First, I heard about it, but wanted to confirm if this exists and is possible to do time lapse videos
How is it different from doing a time lapse on a DSLR?
What quality will it record?
Is it recorded onto the CF in jpgs?

If shooting time-lapse a DSLR is always a better way to go. You can do it on a C300 of course and it does work. Its recorded onto the CF cards in exactly the same way other footage is recorded - 50MBPS 4:2:2 @ 1080P - assuming your camera is set to the highest setting.

DSRL will shoot time-lapse as RAW high res. images, size dependent on the camera you're using.

Okay cool.
For my upcoming gigs, Ill be shooting video on the C300 and may not want or be able to carry my DSLR with me and may need to use the C300.

One last thing.
What is the longest exposure it can take?
