So you can connect to the camera using IP, whether wirelessly, LAN or by USB for example. You could see all the settings on a web-based GUI and remotely change them either individually or en masse by uploading packages.
We could then share our setup packages over the net, rather than laboriously posting them as text, and keying them in one by one.
