Instant HD and DVX100 question

I plan on purchasing Instant HD by red giant for a project... I just watched the demo and it said that it can only work with 24p footage. I shot everything on the F5 setting so
24p thats really 29.97

Will this plugin work for my project. Will have to convert it to 24p even though it somewhat already is? Sounds like to me that it might just end up looking worse then before.
 
Where did you read that? I have used instant HD with a variety of frame rates...Could it have said that it also works with 24p?

I dont see how only working with one frame rate would make sense? The up conversion really has nothing to do with frame rate as far as I understand it.
 
I probably need to watch it again but I'm pretty sure he says it works only with progressive basically meaning if you do 60i youll need to deinterlace, but 30p and 24p will all be fine.
 
Also make sure your computer and NLE are supported.
It only works in Premiere, Aftereffects and Final Cut.
