Inexpensive lens for indie film makers?

I have a 50mm f1.4 nikon lens, and I was wondering what other inexpensive lenses I should be on the look out for. I'm doing narrative work, but I don't have a huge budget to spend on glass right now. If I wanted something really nice I'd rent it most likely.
 
I have picked up quite a few pre-AI Nikkor primes and have spent, I think $125.00 at the most. I have a 24mm F2.8 pre-AI, a 35mm F2.8 pre-AI, a 200mm F3.5 pre-AI, a 50mm f1.4 pre-AI, a 50mm f2 pre-AI and 100mm F2.8 E Series Nikon also. I love them. The 24mm is my fav. I am looking to get a 20mm f2.8 pre-AI lens and an 85mm f1.8 pre-AI lens. Those seem to be going in the $200.00 range though. The 200mm is my least favorite.

A lot of folks have posted that the AI lenses have "Better" coatings than the pre-AI lens and handle lens flare better. I posted this thread about it. It does not seem to be an issue though. This is just a down and dirty test shot with the 24mm.
