GH2 indiSLider pro for GH2; PLEASE HELP!!

I recently purchased a used indislider pro from ebay for $350. I found out though that I can't just throw my GH2 on top of it, since its thread is fatter that what screws underneath the GH2.


I cannot put my GH2 bare onto it, so does anyone have any suggestions for a fluid head? I was looking at this this; good choice?

I also have some tripod legs that I would like to mount the indiSlider pro on top of. The legs are from a Vanguard 560 Heavy Duty tripod, so I think it can handle the height/weight.

Problem is, the mount for the fluid head does not match the underside of the indislider pro; Tripod mount is too small to screw underneath the slider.

Is there any adapter I can use to make the tripod mount fit the underside of the slider? I'm obviously new to camera sliders and mounts, any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Thanks, so these adapters are good for both the camera to slider, and the slider to tripod?

3/8-16 is the larger stud used to mount tripod heads or larger cameras. 1/4-20 is the dslr camera stud.

That fluid head you posted is a decent cheap alternative. But if you are just sliding and not panning or tilting just get a cheap ballhead that takes 3/8-16 on the bottom and has a 1/4-20 ontop.

If you have other tripods then you can match the head to the plates/heads that you already have so you can swap them easy.

Or just go with a fluid head.

You'll want to pan/tilt so I'd recommend some sort of head instead of just a 1/4 to 3/8 adapter.
 
So, I get a 3/8-16 for a tripod head to go on the slider, and a 1/4-20 for slider to fit on the tripod mount. Is this correct?
