indie snap mattebox detail and photos…..

Too big though man... maybe make a smaller one after the first run? This thing would actually get in the way on a lot of shoots. (Talking about fast moving features here) You need all the compactness you can get and this wouldn't work for that.

When I buy one, I'll get a case along with it. You can never have enough cases that look like you could either

a) Store large amounts of small unmarked bills in

b) put bombs in

Of course I would do neither of the above.........ok maybe a but thats it.

Naw, let 'em source their own case . . . you won't make anything on it and it might cause additional supplier issues. Anyone can find a case but not everyone can build a matte box, keep it simple at $189 and I hope you sell a gazillion of 'em!

(and please put me down for the one you'll make later for the HVX). Nice going!

Ok, guys, so what is the latest? is this one has been ordered already by some one?
What is a feedback?

Budget minded? YES
wanting the sexy matte box look? YES
Willing to spend up to 239? YEAH!

I'm down. Just one clarrifying question, in the description it says it cannot fit with wide adaptors...what about the anamophic adaptor?

Ah ok, just curious. I've been looking along time for an AFFORDABLE matte box. Glad you took one for the team.

Haven't got into shipping rates yet. It will be very minimal as these are light. I would guess $10 or so without case, Shipping will be actual rate. There will be no "handling" fees.

Rushing to get out a box for review the next day or so... Just waiting on one supplier.

The FX will be groovy

In light of concerns with onboard mics, rail systems, hand held work and even cosmetics I scrambled this weekend and reduced the size by about 20%

This will male it compatible with more products and I think it looks better too.
