Indie Slider for my XHA1

I figured i would post this in the canon section seeming there are a lot of people that post here. I am currently looking for a indie slide for my xha1, any suggestions? I dont want to spend to much (think you saw that coming). But if i need to then im all for it. What are people using? are you making your own? I am on a little bit of a time slot. I want this to take on a trip to hawaii in the next 2 weeks? any info would help. thanks ahead.

Really?? You actually like the indislider mini? I just got it and I hate it. The camera is far too heavy for the slider which makes it bind and results in really crappy shaky moves. I'm returning mine and opting for the zazaslider. Zaza all the way!

The way to use the IndieSlider with a heavy rig so it doesn't bind, is to drag it rather than pushing/sliding.

Hmmm... do you mean like attaching a large rubber band or a bungy to it (I hear that is what a lot of people are doing). I didn't even think my rig was that heavy. I tested it using a DVX100B and just a battery...

No no, I meant by "dragging" it with your hand, (rather than pushing it). By the way, my rig is also quite heavy, and it took me a bit of practice to not have it stick/bind to the IndieSlider:

Yeah, I did notice that (it looks way heavier than mine!). Okay, thanks Peer. I will give it another shot. It does like kinda cool though doesn't it (especially with those little feet on it)?
