GH4 Incredible: GH4 test withour cat

So all lumix micro 4/3 glass? what 7mm-14mm are you referring too? Beautiful footage!

The 7 - 14 is an exceptional lens. And with a camera that produces not too much noise, you can overcome the restrictions set by the slow speed.

Wonder if they started the camera via Wi-Fi as this kind of birds are normally relatively shy. If so it would again prove that apart from picture quality alone a lot of other factors decide if a camera is a real work-horse.

Judging from the BTS video, I don't think so. He took those images from a submerged bird hide (blind) with possibly one way glass. That's why the birds are so natural. So no need for remote triggering. I agree that it would be a major enhancement.

When are the people shooting these things going to invest in ND's to get that shutter somewhere close to 180 degrees?

For what it is, pretty amazing footage otherwise.

Old news I know, but Olympus has a 7-14mm f/2.8 coming in 2015....which should be awesome.

They also have a 40-150mm f/2.8 coming the second half of this year.

Exciting times indeed in M4/3 land!!

Olympus also just posted a patent for 12mm and 14 f/1.0's and with the Panasonc Leica 15mm f/1.7 about to come out, there seems to be a ton of great looking lenses coming down the pipeline for m43. Now we just need Panasonic to make a 200-400mm f/4.0 IS. The 100-300 doesn't quite have enough reach and speed at f/5.6 to make this system the drop dead ultimate wildlife tool ever made. Definitely a beautiful time to be into filming :)
